rollingstone: Prince’s Welcome 2 America tour kick-off last night at the Izod Center in New Jersey was nothing short of divine madness: He not only played classic hits such as “Kiss” and “U Got The Look,” but he also performed an unprecedented medley of tracks including “All The Critics Love U In New York” / “Controversy” / “Sexy Dancer” / “Le Freak” (Chic cover) / and “Housequake.” Trading a black leather trench coat for red pajamas through mid-show, Prince left quite an impression on his fans — along with some glitter on the floor.
